The community of Somedays Bar and Grill, along with friends, family, and patrons, is reeling from the sudden and unexpected death of Jen Sullivan, a dedicated employee and integral part of the restaurant’s foundation. In a moving Facebook tribute, Somedays Bar and Grill shared the devastating news, reflecting on the vital role Jen played in the restaurant’s success and the deep emotional impact her loss has had on the entire team.

“Somedays there aren’t words to describe the pain life can throw at you. Our Somedays family has lost one of our own, a beloved friend, coworker and all-around amazing person. Jen Sullivan was one of the greatest people I’ve ever known. She was hardworking and caring, somedays a little too brutally honest but that’s what we loved about her,” the post read.

Jen Sullivan was more than just a team member at Somedays Bar and Grill—she was family. Known for her fierce honesty, compassionate nature, and tireless dedication, Jen stood as a pillar of strength and support for the restaurant and the people who worked and dined there. Her personality lit up the room, and her ability to connect with both customers and staff made her a cherished presence.

Together with her husband, Jen was instrumental in helping to bring Somedays Bar and Grill to life. From the very beginning, the couple worked side-by-side with ownership to help launch and remodel the restaurant. They continued to support the establishment in countless ways over the years, even up until her final days. Her commitment to the restaurant went far beyond a typical job—it was a labor of love.

“Her and her husband helped with the startup and remodel of Somedays in so many ways and still continued to help until her passing on Monday. I could not have done this without them,” the owner expressed in the post.

To honor Jen’s life, Somedays Bar and Grill will be closed until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23 to host a Celebration of Life at the restaurant. Friends, coworkers, and community members are invited to gather, share memories, and pay tribute to a woman who meant so much to so many.

The restaurant also asked for understanding from the community as the staff takes time to grieve, stating: “Please be patient with our staff as we mourn this loss and keep their family in your thoughts.”
